ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “Today we present the new decree law security and civil protection: is not the first time that the government deals with safety at work, which makes strategic choices, both on the front of prevention and on the front of the extension of the overalls”. We also intervene with the stabilization of Inail health care personnel. We have a series of measures that allow us to say that we secure the future. We have planned a series of interventions dedicated to the prevention of accidents, training and accompaniment of our young people.”.

“We have an important intervention, as a further step, on the introduction of a license to credits in building, we have always said that the driver’s license was not only for that sector, but we needed to create an experience and ability to assess the instrument and then extend it to other sectors,” he explained. “With this decree we introduce the yard badge – Calderone added – availing us of those that are successful experiences within the area of the seismic crater of the central Appennine. This decree has very large measures with an important economic impact, because at regime it will weigh 900 million euros a year”.

The Council of Ministers today approved two measures introducing new information on school-work training, student safety and enhancement of the school system of minor islands. With the Decree-Law on Safety at Work, insurance cover is also extended to any accidents occurring during the journey between the home or other home and the place where the school-work activity takes place. At the same time, it is established that the conventions stipulated between schools and host companies will no longer be able to predict school-work training activities in high-risk jobs for students. At the same time, INAIL will promote in schools information campaigns and educational projects dedicated to the dissemination of the culture of health and safety at work in the field of teaching civic education.

With a bill dedicated to the smaller islands, specific measures are introduced to enhance the school staff that provides for the allocation of additional scores in the provincial rankings for substitutes. “With these interventions we give a concrete signal of attention to our students and to those who live the school every day. School-work training must be an opportunity for growth, not for risk: young people must be able to face these experiences safely. For their greater protection, we have extended the insurance cover also to accidents that may occur on the way from home to the place where the activities take place. Moreover, we continue to support and value the smaller islands, recognizing the commitment of those who teach and work in territories that constitute a unique patrimony for the country”, said the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara.
