The Como in Genoa finds victory, Douvikas and Diao in goal

GENOVA (ITALPRESS) – Como regains its victory after more than a month. The men of Cesc Fabregas are 2-0 Genoa in the Ferraris match valid for the thirty-fourth day of Serie A: decisive the networks of Douvikas and Diao.

After 8′ the hosts cut out their first networking opportunity with Vitinha who, imprisoned by Ekhator, overcomes Butez but fails to center the mirror of the door. Two minutes later, the Larians took advantage of a goal by Anastasios Douvikas, which made the winning lead on a delicious cross by Da Cunha. The Genoa tries to react, but at 23′ the guests go close to the doubling with the usual Nico Paz, whose mancino turns out little on the bottom. At 25′, the game is interrupted for a few seconds to remove a smokescreen launched in the red-blue rigor area. Butez makes a mistake at the middle of the game, which is likely to cost expensive to his parents, giving ball to Vitinha, who slips right before kicking. In a very thick first-time finish, the white-blue doubled at 34′ with Nico Paz, which hits a clamorous pole.

In the Fabregas and De Rossi shoot, Nico Paz and Bijlow are forced to replace for physical problems, inserting Caqueret and Leali. At 57′ Butez risks again on the pressing of Ekhator, which hardly blows the extreme opponent defender. Genoa pushes with conviction in search of the tie, but struggles to build really dangerous occasions. At the best of the Ligurians, Como finds the doubling with Assane Diao: the Senegalese takes advantage of a cross of Baturina deviated from Caqueret and the head bag. In the recovery the souls are lit up and The Pen is forced to extract yellow cards at the address of Messias and Kempf. The race rhythms lower and favour the Larians, who administer the 2-0 until the triple whistle, which sanctions their return to victory after over a month.

By virtue of this success Como returns to fifth place with 61 points, equal to Roma, and remains in the fight for the Champions League; while Genoa remains at 39. The Lombards will return to the field on May 2 at the Sinigaglia against Naples; the Ligurians, instead, on the same day will be guests of the Atalanta at the New Balance Arena.
