ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella, accompanied by his daughter Laura, arrived at the Basilica Santa Maria degli Angeli and the Martyrs in Rome to attend the solemn funeral of the Sicilian physicist Antonino Zichichi. Present for the government the Minister of the University and Scientific Research Anna Maria Bernini and the Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli. The feretro arrived at 16 in the square in front of the Basilica. He will be Monsignor Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo to celebrate the solemn funeral of the scientist and divulner who died at the age of 96.
