ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi presided over the Viminale the National Committee for Public Order and Security, presenting the leadership of police and intelligence forces. At the centre of the meeting, the updating of safety measures on the national territory, with particular attention to prevention and control activities in the light of the current international framework.
“There are over 28 thousand sensitive targets in Italy. For many of them, in particular those attributable to the countries involved in the conflict, the immediate strengthening of the supervisory devices was prepared – explains the Viminale in a note -. The strategic anti-terrorism committee was also decided to implement the CASA meetings. Also raised the safety device on the whole territory in view of the most significant events and events scheduled in the coming weeks in order to ensure its performance in conditions of maximum safety”.
