TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Suzuki unveiled the price of the new GSX-R1000R, the world premiered in August on the legendary Suzuka circuit on the occasion of the 8 Hours of Suzuka and first shown in Europe last September at the Bol d’Or, on the Le Castellet circuit in France, during one of the most iconic endurance competitions in the world.
Symbol of the House of Hamamatsu which in 2025 celebrated 40 years of history, will be proposed at the price of 20,490 euros. The new GSX-R1000R reflects the DNA racing and the exclusivity of a model developed with the direct contribution of Suzuki’s experience in international competitions, from the world’s Endurance to the 8 hours of Suzuka. Comprehensive equipment, without compromises made of series carbon side aerodynamic fins, derived from racing experience and designed to improve stability and driving feeling at high speeds. The pulsating heart of the new GSX-R1000R is the four-cylinder engine in line with 999.8 cc, further refined to offer high-level performance. The redesigned headboards, new combustion chambers and the compression ratio brought to 13,8:1 improve thermal efficiency while maintaining the typical power of the GSX-R, ensuring better performance. The new compact titanium exhaust system combines efficiency and strong stylistic identity, while helping to meet the Euro 5+ emissions regulations.
On the electronic front, the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) platform introduces more advanced and intuitive controls: 10-tier traction control, updated launch control, bidirectional quickshifter for rapid change without the use of the clutch lever and a sophisticated Motion Track Brake System that optimizes braking even in the curve. To complete the package, a new IMU Bosch lighter and more precise ensures unprecedented dynamic control.
Also the cyclist receives important updates: Redesigned motor shaft, with increased supports and revised base to withstand even higher loads, new distribution chain, SCAS clutch (assisted and anti-saltellation) optimized for even more fluid and less fatigued management. The new HY battEliiy P-series lithium battery is lighter, compact, safer and long-lasting, while the next generation ABS Astemo control unit, more compact and lightweight, improves integration with electronic systems.
The new GSX-R1000R is presented with a celebratory design, enhanced by the three 40th Anniversary liveries, which pay tribute to the most iconic moments of GSX-R history and enhance its indissoluble link with the world of competitions: BLU 40th (historical coloration of version 750 of 1986), ROSSO 40th (livrea of the world champion motorcycle in 1993 with Kevin Schwantz), GIALLO 40th (colors of the livery of Team Alstare in 2005).
With a price of 20,490 euros (VAT included, Franco dealer), the new Suzuki GSX-R1000R represents a perfect synthesis of technology, performance and heritage, confirming itself as one of the supersportives of reference for those seeking authentic emotions, both on the road and on the track.
