At a time, unfortunately, many clouds still obscure the world, with the spread of logic contrary to the Gospel, which exalt the supremacy of the strongest, encourage the prepotence and feed the seduction of victory at all costs, suffers the cry of those who suffer and of those who are helpless.” Thus Pope Leo XIV, in his homily today afternoon during Mass in the parish of Santa Maria Regina Pacis in Ostia Lido.
The Pope, during his visit, met the children of catechism and young people, the elderly, the sick, the poor, the volunteers of Caritas and the pastoral council.
