ROME (ITALPRESS) – In the third quarter, Istat estimates that gross domestic product, expressed in chain-linked values with reference year 2020, adjusted for calendar effects and seasonally adjusted, was stationary compared to the previous quarter and grew by 0.4 percent compared to the third quarter of 2023. The third quarter had three more working days than the previous quarter and one more working day than the third quarter of 2023. The economic change is a summary of a decrease in value added in both agriculture, forestry and fishing and industry and an increase in services. On the demand side, there is a positive contribution from the domestic component (before inventories) and a negative contribution from the net foreign component.
