TURIN (ITALPRESS) – A tour bus plunged into the waters of the Po River in Turin this afternoon, near the bridge in Vittorio Veneto Square, right in the city center. The driver died. The bus, after hitting three pedestrians, broke through the railing to end up in the water. There were no passengers on the vehicle.
The bus partially sank, according to initial findings only the driver was inside. The vehicle broke through the guardrail at the height of the Murazzi. Firefighting teams, along with divers, were on the scene.
