VARESE (ITALPRESS) – Around 13.30 today the Carabinieri of the Company of Gallarate stopped in Varano Borghi (VA) Elia Del Grande, dismissed the day of Easter from Alba, where he was interned at that House of Work. The man was driving a Fiat 500, which was previously removed from the cemetery of the Lentate fraction of Sesto Calende. The Carabinieri di Gallarate patrols crossed the car in question along the SP 18.
In the circumstance, Del Grande attempted to evade control by stopping in the road to access a private house. The military, noticed the maneuver, then reached and blocked by the military means the car on board which there was the fugitive. One of the carabinieri then approached the driver’s side by directing the driver to get off, while trying to remove the keys of the car; while this operation was underway, Del Grande attempted a last desperate manoeuvre with the said car, however, being immediately blocked, causing slight injuries to one of the soldiers. In light of this, Del Grande, on the advice of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Varese, was therefore arrested for resistance to P.U. and personal injury. The same will be conducted at the prison of Varese, at the disposal of the judicial authority.
