Tragedy Switzerland, Tajani “Accept responsibility and save lives”

CRANS-MONTANA (SVIZZERA) (ITALPRESS) – “As for the data we have, there are 13 Italians injured and 6 missing. There are still 3 unidentified wounded, we hope they can be missing Italians.” So the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, arrived in Crans-Montana after the fire in the New Year’s Eve. “Italy has made available the whole healthcare facility especially for large burners. Civil Protection sent a helicopter and psychologists from the Aosta Valley and doctors from Lombardy are coming. We are trying to help the Swiss authorities in every way. As for the investigation, the Attorney General said that the dynamics are clear. Something didn’t work but it will be up to the judiciary to investigate and ascertain the facts and truth. Before we try to save human lives,” added Tajani.

“The investigation is underway, there have already been dozens of testimonies: certain – the minister has emphasized – the ignition of fireworks pyrotechnics in such a small room seems irresponsible”. Tajani then added to have spoken with the authorities “to thank them for what they are doing for the Italians. The ambassador and the consul are here to provide assistance and have an overall picture of the situation. We are here to reiterate the maximum collaboration from the health, police and civil protection point of view.” The minist therefore laid flowers on the place of tragedy.
