MILAN (ITALPRESS) – A tram line 9 is derailed by the tracks and crashed against a palace. The fact happened shortly after 16:00 while the tram crossed Viale Vittorio Veneto towards Porta Venezia. Numerous ambulances are converging on the spot. There’s already a victim. It would not be
of a passenger, but of a person who was invested when the public vehicle came out of the tracks. The provisional budget also mentions at least 20 injured in serious conditions.
According to what makes known the firefighters, the tram after having disconnected from the railway line, for reasons still under investigation, went to crash on a store window. They are reported at the moment injured already rescued by the health personnel, while the firefighters are at work to extract a passenger still stuck. Five vehicles sent from the headquarters of via Messina on the spot for a total of 25 men.
