Trenord, historic train returns with 11 runs to Lombardy lakes

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Eleven runs from downtown Milan to the lakes, Novara and to the mountains of Valassina. This is Trenord’s program for the historic train in 2025, which after selling out in 2024 on the occasion of its 100th anniversary, returns with two new destinations: in addition to the Maggiore and Como Lakes, this year the convoy will also reach Novara and Asso. It will be Sunday, April 6, the first run of the historic train, which will return to the tracks to reintroduce passengers to new journeys to be spent in the atmosphere of the 1920s, on the cardinal-red velvet seats of the first-class carriages, with wooden interiors.

Trips with destination Como Lago, Novara Nord and Asso will be enlivened by characters in period costume who will perform various artistic, theatrical and musical performances based on the historical reconstruction of places and characters of the time. Those with destination Laveno Mombello Lago, on the other hand, will be enriched by ensembles of jazz musicians who will pay homage to the music of the 1920s and 1930s.
