WASHINGTON (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – U.S. President Donald Trump has decided to suspend U.S. military aid to Ukraine after last Friday’s heated discussion in the Oval Office with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky, a White House official tells CNN. The stop on military aid, which does not affect troops already on the ground, will remain in effect until “Zelensky has demonstrated a willingness to seek peace talks.”
“The president has been clear that he is focused on peace,” the official pointed out. “We also need our partners to work toward that goal. We are suspending and reviewing our aid to make sure it contributes to a solution.”
