TSRM and PSTRP orders, Diego Catania’s list wins election

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Elections were held on March 15, 16 and 17, 2025, for the Central Committee and the Board of Auditors of the National Federation of the Orders of Medical Radiology Health Technicians and Technical, Rehabilitation and Preventive Health Professions (Tsrm and Pstrp) for the four-year period 2025-2029.

The voting results, made official at the end of the election count, see the outgoing governing bodies succeeded by the “Renew and Grow” list, led by Diego Catania, president of the Tsrm and Pstrp Order of Milan, Como, Lecco, Lodi, Monza Brianza and Sondrio.

“I am very pleased with the broad consensus recorded and the trust placed in us, which allows us to start our mandate on a solid and inclusive basis,” Catania declares.

“The multiprofessional architecture of our list represents a true statement of intent, because over the next four years we intend to give central importance to collaboration between all profiles belonging to the Tsrm and Pstrp Orders.
Dialogue, in a broad sense, will be at the heart of our mandate: dialogue not only among the 18 health professions, but also toward the Institutions, the National Roll Commissions, the territorial Orders, the other national Federations, the technical-scientific Associations, and civil society. We will take action to create a climate of openness, cohesion and sharing, where issues of importance to the professions are addressed in a transversal and collaborative perspective and worthy initiatives are valued and promoted, always comparing ourselves in real time with other reference realities at the national and regional levels. We will share our perspectives and strengths, making plurality the founding value on which to build the full recognition of the technical, rehabilitation and prevention health area professions.”

“There are many areas in which we will decline our strategy, from the enhancement of representative competencies for the professions to the recognition of advanced ones, from support for freelancing, from the promotion of good safety practices in health care to gender medicine, passing through the development of academic and research pathways for professionals. To achieve these goals, we will strengthen our presence in institutional venues and participation in institutional and national policies, while working on consolidating our role on the legislative and social levels. We will also give special impetus to combating the abusive practice of our professions, with the aim of protecting citizens and ensuring the quality of services provided. I am convinced that the National Health Service is on the eve of a profound change, which will be accomplished definitively only with the full recognition of the valuable resources brought to bear by the health professions. With today’s victory we stand at the head of this renewal, aware of the responsibility and honor of representing more than 160,000 health care professionals.”
