ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, took part today in a video conference with President Zelensky and other European leaders for a new point of the situation on the path of peace in Ukraine in light of the last talks between the American and Ukrainian delegations and in view of the visit that President Zelensky prepares to make tomorrow in Rome.
President Meloni again emphasised the importance of the unity of views between European partners and the United States to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. Fundamental at this time, in view of the leaders gathered, is to increase the level of convergence on issues that touch the vital interests of Ukraine and its European partners, such as the definition of solid security guarantees and the identification of measures shared in support of Ukraine and its reconstruction.
