ROME (ITALPRESS) – An agreement has been reached with Unicredit on the 2024 productivity bonus: 2,500 euros plus a telemedicine policy, intended for all current employees and their families. The Vap (productivity added value) will be usable in two ways: option a) 2,500 euros, of which 2,411.30 euros will be in the welfare account and 88.70 euros as a contribution for the dental policy; option b) 1,900 euros, of which 1.000 euros cash in the paycheck (with a preferential tax rate of 5 percent); 811.30 euros in the welfare account and 88.70 euros as a contribution for the dental policy. For both options, it will be possible to purchase, on a voluntary basis, a countervalue of 500 euros in Unicredit shares, drawing from the welfare account.”After a difficult negotiation, which initially saw us on distant positions, thanks to the profound sense of responsibility of the Trade Unions and the governance structures of Unicredit, a fully satisfactory agreement was reached that allows employees to benefit from one of the largest bonuses in the Italian banking system,” comments Rosario Mingoia, secretary in charge of Uilca Unicredit. Thanks to the 2.3 percent growth in net income over the previous year-a result achieved through the commitment and dedication of the institute’s workers-the Vap increases by 15 percent. It is only fair to reward the productivity and professionalism of the people who have enabled the Bank, again for 2024, to achieve brilliant results, placing it among the best-performing credit companies. This agreement follows the very valuable one on training, recently signed. “The amounts allocated to welfare accounts will be recognized by April 10, 2025. For those who choose the option with the cash component in the paycheck, the expected 1,000 euros gross will be credited in the June pay slip, keeping the date of disbursement of the remaining 811.30 euros as welfare (April) unchanged.
