University, Emilia-Romagna first in Italy for attractive capacity

BOLOGNA (ITALPRESS) – “The regional law of Emilia-Romagna to attract and retain talent is giving its first fruits. I thank our universities for the great work they are carrying out. We want to continue in this direction, acting especially in an international projection.” This is the comment of Vincenzo Colla, vice president of the Emilia-Romagna Region with delegation to University and Research, on the data of the 59th Censis Report on the social situation of the Country, that place the regional university system in the first place in Italy for attractive capacity, with a positive balance pairs to +26.3% of registrations from outside the region.

“The demographic crisis makes urgent actions of active policy for the attraction and enhancement of talents. The Region, after having first approved a law in this sense, has immediately activated involving universities, school systems, business associations, research centers and all the subjects that are part of the regional ecosystem for innovation and research. The Censis 2025 report shows that we are on the right path and certifies the great commitment of the integrated system of our universities. Now we have to implement together the internationalization of the offer in order to increasingly and increasingly cross the Italian and foreign talents, looking not only to Europe, but also beyond the ocean. The objective is challenging – it closes Colla-, but our region, with its universities, the system of education and training, the Research Centres, the Tecnopoli, including Dama, has all the potential to succeed”.
