ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The website https://housinguniversitario.MUR.gov.it/, the new platform of the Ministry of University and Research on University Housing.
The new portal, developed in collaboration with the Politecnico di Torino, was presented in Milan by Minister Anna Maria Bernini. The site offers students and families an interactive map to identify the structures and interventions dedicated to university residentiality, to consult the main characteristics and to guide themselves in the search for accommodation.
Through infographics, data and indicators it is also possible to know the distribution and results of the main public measures dedicated to university housing, from interventions financed through Law 338/2000 to those carried out under the PNRR. With the MUR Housing Plan, more than 63,200 beds have been activated at national level, exceeding the PNRR target of 60 thousand new places for university students.
The new platform allows you to view its distribution on the territory and to consult in a simple and immediate way the information on interventions.
“In recent years – Minister Bernini said – we have worked to increase beds and with the Housing Plan we have exceeded the target of the PNRR, activating over 63,200. At the same time, we continued to invest in national instruments, such as Law 338, to build new residences and retrain existing ones. We also focused on the quality of university residences. A residence is not only accommodation: it is a place where you live, study, meet other people and grow. Today we take a step further to make it easier to find information. With the new MUR platform on housing, students and families will be able to learn about the residences on the territory, orient themselves among the opportunities available and have a clearer picture of how the offer of university accommodation in Italy is growing”.
