USA, found the Senate agreement to end shutdown

WASHINGTON (USA) (ITALPRESS) – First step towards the end of the longest shutdown in the history of the United States: the Senate, with a bipartisan understanding, has in fact voted to interrupt the blockade that is paralyzing the American government offices for forty days. Democrats have found a provisional agreement with Republicans that allows government funding until January: 60 votes in favour, 40 against, therefore open the way to the expense agreement which, however, will still have to obtain the approval of the House and get the signature of President Donald Trump to end the shutdown.

The agreement, CNN says, would include a new buffer measure to extend government funding until January and would be bound by a larger package to fund completely different key agencies. However, it would not include any guarantee from the Republicans to extend the health subsidies, which were at the centre of the struggle for funding.
