Vance “Possible reasonable agreement between Russia and Ukraine”

MUNICH (GERMANY) (ITALPRESS) – “While the Trump administration is very concerned about European security and believes that we can come to a reasonable agreement between Russia and Ukraine, we also believe that it is important in the coming years that Europe takes a big step forward to provide for its own defense.” This was said by U.S. Vice President JD Vance in his speech at the Security Conference in Munich. “The threat that concerns me most about Europe is not Russia, it’s not China, it’s not any other external actor. And what worries me is the threat from within,” Vance added. On defense, “we talk about sharing the burden. It’s important to be in an alliance where Europe steps up and America focuses in areas that are in danger,” he added. “But we can’t talk about the budget if we don’t know what we’re defending. What are you standing up for, what is the vision? What is so important? There is no security if you are afraid of the voices, opinions and consciences of your people. If you are afraid of your constituents there is nothing America can do for you,” said Vance again, for whom “there is nothing more urgent than mass immigration,” even in Europe.
