PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – “I welcome with great satisfaction the free way of the Sicilian Region’s junta to the scheme of convention with the Demanio Agency and the ICCS, on proposal of the Councillor Giusi Savarino, for the realization of Ismett 2 in Carini. The birth of the new health centre is a turning point for the entire Mezzogiorno: a state-of-the-art infrastructure for the treatment of complex diseases, able to combine assistance and research, with important relapses also on the occupational level and the development of the territory”. Thus in a note the Secretary of the Chamber, Carolina Varchi, Head of Brothers of Italy for the policies of the Mezzogiorno.
“An applause – he adds – certainly goes to the Sicilian Region for the activity carried out since the last legislature and crowned with the inclusion of the work in the cohesion agreement signed by Renato Schifani and Giorgia Meloni. A thanks to the undersecretary to MEF Lucia Albano for the interlocution with the Demanio Agency and the Minister of Cohesion Tommaso Foti who just a few weeks ago wanted to visit the construction site of Carini. I will continue to follow each phase of the project carefully, so that Ismett 2 will soon become a concrete reality at the service of citizens and a point of reference for excellence health in South Italy”.
