PARMA (ITALPRESS) – A key victory for Verona, which reared its head again and beat Parma 3-2 away thanks to goals from Coppola, Sarr and Mosquera. For the hosts, however, the double put in by Sohm was not enough. The Scaligeri returned to success after four consecutive defeats and “welded” Zanetti’s shaky bench. They hooked Pecchia’s men in the standings, at their fourth defeat in the last six matches played.The Tardini match turned on within a few minutes, it was Coppola (5′) who unblocked the challenge with a header past Suzuki (the Japanese goalkeeper was fooled by a rebound in the small area). The reaction of the Ducals came within a few minutes, at 19′ Bonny kicked on goal, Ghilardi repelled on the line, but on the rebound came Sohm who repeated in the net equalizing the score. The first blaze of the second half came from Almqvist, a violent conclusion that went just over the crossbar. In Parma’s best moment, it was Zanetti’s team that found the go-ahead goal: Sarr, at 12′, launched Harroui on the right, then presenting himself in the box to strike and sign his second center in the league.A few minutes later it was the same Harroui who had the ball for 3-1 but his shot ended up on the bottom: the former Frosinone man exited immediately after the conclusion due to a knee problem. Pecchia’s men tried hard to even the score, Man – after a good ball worked by Bonny – gobbled up the chance of a possible 2-2. On 30′ it was Mosquera’s turn to virtually close the match: a quick counterattack by Verona that once again took advantage of a defensive misreading by Parma.
