ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Vinicius Junior decided last night to playoffs between his Real and Benfica. The blancos won for 1-0 on the Portuguese field with Brazilian net. To make noise however were the accusations of the same player of the Real, who denounced being victim of racist offenses by Argentine Gianluca Prestianni. The race was also interrupted for about ten minutes by the referee Francois Letexier.
The Real player, around 50′, after having scored, exulted in a way considered exaggerated by the Lisbon audience. He then remedied a yellow sign for protests and then would be insulted by Prestianni. The Benfica, however, has denied, this reconstruction of the facts: “He couldn’t hear what Prestianni said.”.
“The racists are first of all cowards. They need to put their shirt in their mouth to show how weak they are,” wrote Vinicius Junior on social media.
Ready the answer of Prestianni: “He misinterpreted what he believed he had heard. I have never been racist and denounced against the threats that have addressed the Real players to me.”.
Finally, the leader of the Madrid club, Kylian Mbappé defended Vinicus Junior. “It is unacceptable, but it happened and will happen again. Prestianni raised the shirt and told Vinicius Junior ‘you are a monkey’ for five times: I heard it. Some Benfica players also heard the insults.”.
UEFA “RAPPORTO VINICIUS-PRESTIANNI IN FASE DI REVISIONE”
