PALERMO (ITALPRESS) – VOIhotels, the hòtellerie division of Alpitour World, announces the acquisition of Cinisi Florio Park Hotel, a prestigious property by the sea that will take the name of VOI Florio Resort. The operation, which provides for a restructuring plan, as read in a note, will see a final overall investment – including purchase and requalification interventions – amounting to 20 million euros. This initiative, underlines the note, is part of the expansion strategy of the VOIhotels offer in Sicily, where there are already 3 resorts and 3 hotels of the VRetreats collection, as well as the development of synergies with the Alpitour World ecosystem. Thanks to its strategic position, just 8 kilometers from Palermo airport, the VOI Florio Resort, in fact, strengthens the collaboration with the division of the Tour Operating, also entering the offer of the main brands of the Group, and with the airline Neos, that from June 2024 introduced the direct flight Palermo-New York with two weekly frequencies, recording very positive performances. The VOI Florio Resort is a 4 star hotel surrounded by a four-hectare park overlooking one of the most picturesque stretches of western Sicily, the Gulf of Castellammare. The complex consists of 21 buildings, of which 17 are dedicated to the 210 rooms distributed on one or two floors. The central building houses the Hall, the bar and a panoramic restaurant with a sea terrace.
