MILANO (ITALPRESS) – Adam Van Koeverden, Secretary of State for Sport and Sherpa Fifa of Canada – a co-hosted country of the World Championship – met today in Milan Canadian footballers active in Serie A, Ismaël Koné (Sassuolo) and Jonathan David (Juventus), the president of Lega Serie A, Ezio Simonelli, the owner and vice president of Sassuolo, Veronica Squinzi.
During the meeting, Van Koeverden gave the official scarves of the Canada team for the 2026 World Championships to the participants, while Ismaël Koné and Jonathan David gave the Canadian Secretary of State and Golberg the jerseys of Sassuolo and Juventus with their names. The two players signed the official FIFA World Cup 2026 balloons.
