World Alpine Ski Championships, Noel forks and Meillard wins gold in Slalom

SAALBACH (AUSTRIA) (ITALPRESS) – Loic Meillard takes gold medal in the slalom in Saalbach, the last round of the 2025 Alpine Ski World Cup. The Swiss (1’54″02) took advantage of a mistake by Clement Noel, best time in the first run, to take the top step of the podium ahead of Norway’s Atle Lie McGrath, silver at 0″26. Bronze medal for Linus Strasser, third at 0″52. At the foot of the podium is Manuel Feller, fourth at 0″79. Timon Haugan is fifth at 0″89. Gaps then climb to find Dave Ryding, sixth at 1″51. Back are Henrik Kristoffersen and Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. The Norwegian and the Brazilian finish paired in 13th (+2″08). Stefano Gross 20th (+2″73) and best of the Italians. Out went both Alex Vinatzer and Tobias Kastlunger. Also exits for Daniel Yule, Filip Zubcic, Armand Marchant, Laurie Taylor and Tormis Laine.
