Yamaha revamps Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Yamaha revamps the Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT models to take a step into the future, integrating never-before-seen technological features and redefining expectations in the touring class for “middleweights.” Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT are equipped with a 7″ TFT dashboard and feature customizable riding modes thanks to the Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) system, which is fully integrated with the six-axis IMU inertial platform. In fact, customers can choose 3 preinstalled modes and program two custom maps via dashboard menu or MyRide app. Free Garmin Full Map navigation is included for Tracer 9 GT.Given the increasing number of customers using their own devices, Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT now also offer an integrated storage compartment on the right side of the fuel tank with a Usb charging port. The Tracer 9 GT model mounts rider-assist technical solutions such as electronic suspension, cruise control, electrically adjustable windshield and heated handlebar grips. Also standard on the Tracer GT is the smart key system, which allows motorcycle ignition, central opening and closing of all functions, including standard hard side bags, without the use of a physical key. For added safety while riding, the two models feature new auto-off turn signals with two-step flasher and ESS (Emergency Stop Signal) function, which automatically activate the hazard lights in case of sudden braking. Tracer 9 is equipped with LED lighting with cornering headlight function and Tracer 9 GT is equipped with Matrix LED headlights, a world first in the two-wheeler industry. Consisting of a matrix of multiple low- and high-beam LEDs connected to a camera integrated into the top of the headlight assembly, the technology automatically detects surrounding traffic, natural light sources and weather conditions to provide optimal lighting at all times. The Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT, with their sharp, aerodynamic design, give a modern look and embody the true essence of the Sport Touring range: the new fairing retains the dynamic and elegant image of the original Tracer 9, but the new shapes are designed to provide excellent wind protection to cover long distances even more comfortably. Made with Yamaha’s exclusive SpinForge technology, the wheels on the Tracer 9 and Tracer 9 GT are lighter (reduced weight by about 500 grams) and stronger, making a significant impact on agility and cornering entry and offering improved fuel efficiency.
