MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The contrast to youth unemployment is an integral part of the mission of Generation Italy, the non-profit foundation founded by McKinsey & Company, which works to promote the employment of young people through free training paths, designed to respond to the real needs of Italian companies and accompany participants towards a concrete and lasting inclusion in the world of work.
Since its foundation in 2018, Generation Italy, explains a note, “has formed over 11,000 young people with an employment rate of more than 80% to 3 months from the end of the training.
In 2026, the training offer spread over four areas of the labour market where enterprises need more and more to employ qualified personnel: Sales ( Retail and Hospitality/Restaurant); Digital/Tech ( Java and .NET Software Developments, Salesforce CRM Developers, Cybersecurity Systems and Analysts on Cisco Technologies, Data Engineer, Cloud Developer Specialist, SAP Developer); Manufacturing (Medical Control Machine Operator, CAD-CAM Designer); Green Jobs (Renewable Energy)”.
The training, continues the note, is totally free and delivered 100% online, except for the routes in Restaurant, CNC Operator and Photovoltaic Panel Installers, which provide a 50% online mode and 50% in presence. Intensive and professionalised courses are aimed at young people between 18 and 29 years old and up to 39 years old for certain training programs, who want to acquire skills that can be immediately spent and build their professional future.
“The Generation programs – we read again – combine technical training, soft skills development and personalized accompaniment to work, according to an experiential methodology based on learning by doing, which replicates the real dynamics of the professional context. The routes are co-designed with enterprises, to ensure consistency between the skills developed and the needs of the market. The distinctive value of Generation Italy is the continuous support for its students and students: from initial selection to classroom training, to the first job interview guaranteed. Students are supported at every stage of the course, developing not only technical skills, but also relational skills that are fundamental today to enter and grow in the world of work.”
To access courses, specific qualifications or experience are not required. To make the difference are motivation, commitment and desire to get involved. The courses, provided in online and/or hybrid mode, follow the recognized Generation model, which integrates technical skills, soft skills and a personalized mentorship program.
It is not necessary to move from region. Generation Italy promotes an inclusive and accessible model. On the https://italy.generation.org/scegli-un-course/ you can consult all courses starting month by month and choose the most in line with your interests and geographical needs.
