Zabystran wins the Super G of Val Gardena, Franzoni is on the podium

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The surprise Jan Zabystran wins the Men’s SuperG of Val Gardena, valid for the Alpine Ski World Cup.

The Czech with the time of 1:24.86 slips on the second step of the podium the Swiss Marco Odermatt (+0′′22), while the Italian Giovanni Franzoni gives himself the first podium of the career with the third place, 37 cents from the best.

Well also Christof Innerhofer, sixth at 53 cents, while Mattia Casse closes eleventh (+0′′′58). Further back Dominik Paris (25°, +1′′07), Marco Abruzzese (31°, +1′′56) and Guglielmo Bosca (40°, +1′′74).

FRANZONI DEDICA IL PODIO A FRANZOSO

Tears for Giovanni Franzoni, climbed on the podium of the SuperG of Val Gardena of the World Cup of Male Alpine Ski. The blue has dedicated his first career podium to former roommate Matteo Franzoso, who died this summer, after a terrible training accident in South America. “Today we skied together,” said Franzoni.
