ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “With the project ‘Next’ we have chosen to open the doors of public administration to young people and tell what it means to work at the service of institutions. We live in a period of rapid and profound changes and to face them we need new energies. With this initiative we want to overcome the stereotypes of the past and build a stable bridge between institutions and talents, enhancing the contribution that young people can offer for the renewal of the country”. Thus the Minister for Public Administration, Paolo Zangrillo, intervening in the spaces of the Randstad Box in Milan for the second stage of the project promoted by the Department of Public Function. The minister recalled how the public sector is changing its face: “Public administration is often associated with a dusty place, but it is not so. We are building the foundations so that it becomes more and more a space where you can grow and make careers”
Zangrillo has therefore recalled the main actions initiated by the Department of Public Service to make public administration more modern starting from the renewal of recruitment procedures: “We have worked a lot on digitizing public competitions with the inPA portal, reducing time from two years to about 5 months. If we want fast institutions, we must have the courage to bring in new energies: for this we have foreseen that the administrations can allocate a 10% stake of the recruitment to the graduates of the ITS Academy and through the program “PA 110 and praise” offer them the opportunity to graduate”.
The minister recalled that “in the public administration there are many excellences that we must value through a cultural change that passes precisely from its people”.
Addressing students and students, Zangrillo urged them to know the public sector: “All your competence, every capacity can become an important tool to make the country more modern,” the minister concluded.
