ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, said on social media that he will soon meet the US leader Donald Trump, as part of his efforts to end the war. “We agreed to a top-level meeting with President Trump in the near future – he writes. Much can be decided before the new year.”
The announcement follows yesterday’s phone talks with the special US Witkoff envoy and Jared Kushner, son-in-law and adviser to Trump. The White House’s representatives followed contacts with the Secretary of the Ukrainian Security Council, Rustem Umjerov.
