ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Ukraine will today share with the United States a peace plan revised after talks in London between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and leaders of France, Germany and Great Britain. This is what international media reports.
The Ukrainian leader added that the US President Donald Trump’s initial peace plan, made up of 28 points, criticized because it favoured Russia, was reduced to 20 points. “Anti-Ukrainian points have been removed,” said Zelensky.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Castel Gandolfo in the morning met Pope Leo XIV in the papal residence.
“Ukraine deeply appreciates all the support of Pope Leo XIV and the Holy See: constant humanitarian aid, willingness to expand the presence of humanitarian missions. Today, during a hearing with His Holiness, I thanked him for his constant prayers for Ukraine and Ukrainians and for his appeals for a just peace. I informed the Pope about diplomatic work with the United States to reach peace.” Thus the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, after the meeting with Pope Leo XIV in the residence of Castel Gandolfo. “We talked about further efforts and mediation by the Vatican for the return of our children kidnapped by Russia. I thank your Holiness for all the efforts to support young Ukrainians. I am grateful for this conversation and for all the attention paid to our people. I invited the Pope to visit Ukraine. This will be a strong signal of support for our people,” he said.
For his part, the Holy Father reiterated the need to continue dialogue and renewed the hope that the ongoing diplomatic initiatives can lead to a just and lasting peace. Moreover, the question of prisoners of war was not lacking and the need to ensure the return of Ukrainian children to their families.
