Bastianini wins at Misano ahead of Martin, Bagnaia falls

MISANO ADRIATICO (ITALPRESS) – After a very excited finale, Enea Bastianini (Ducati Lenovo) won the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, held at the Misano track. On the last lap, the rider from Rimini was the protagonist of a borderline overtaking on Jorge Martin (Ducati Prima Pramac), forcing the Spaniard to second place. Still, Martin can smile, thinking about the world championship fight. Accomplice to the fall of Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo) with seven laps to go, the Madrid rider now has a lead in the standings of 24 points. He also benefits from Pecco’s mistake Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini), who thus takes the lowest step of the podium. Italians Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Pertamina) and Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Prima Pramac) are fourth and fifth, respectively. In order, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo, Aleix Espargaro, Alex Marquez and Miguel Oliveira complete the top ten. Celestino Vietti (Kalex) won the Moto2 race, mocking Aron Canet (Kalex) in the photo finish. Third place for Tony Arbolino (Kalex).Eighth win of the season for David Alonso (CFMOTO) in Moto3. On the last lap, the Colombian rider made a wonderful double overtake on rivals Piqueras and Holgado. The world title is now only a matter of time (82-point lead over Holgado).
