Neonazi network and anti-Semitics online: 19-year-old arrested in Pavia, 14 young people surveyed throughout Italy

PAVIA (ITALPRESS) – The State Police arrested a 19-year-old boy living in Pavia, accused of creating and managing a network dedicated to neo-Nazi propaganda and violence for racial and religious reasons. At the same time, 14 searches took place in different Italian provinces (from Cagliari to Turin) against other young extremists, including 9 minors.

The DIGOS survey in Milan started from monitoring the channels of extreme right on messaging platforms. The 19-year-old had founded the group “Chat Terza Position”, a virtual space open to all where: He was engaged in fascism, Nazism and anti-Semitism. They were exalted authors of supremacist massacres (such as Christchurch’s). They spread content on the so-called “white jihad”, an ideological union between right-wing extremism and jihadist fanaticism in the sign of common hatred towards Jews. A “Manifesto” had been published in 5 points for eversive purposes.

The group was not limited to propaganda: the Arrest pushed members to create real “Revolutionary Action Panions” to perform violent acts in the real world. The danger of the network is confirmed by the fact that some members had already been arrested for serious crimes, as a Treviso minor accused of terrorist training last December. The survey revealed other linked channels: “New Italy”: a similar group managed by two boys who self-defined “President” and “Vicepresident”. Among the inquiries there is a 22-year-old from Pescara who showed firearms on social media. Digital explosive workshops: in other groups attended by searchers video tutorials were found on how to manufacture bombs at home.
