The Brancaccio Cultural Association, in collaboration with Brancaccio e Musica and the online newspaper www.Brancaccioecultura.it, presents the event titled “Made in Sicily” to be held on October 11 at 7:00 PM in Manhattan, at the Foodance Italian Restaurant & Show by Cesare Vangeli, located at 468 W 47th Street, New York, NY 10036, United States. The event is organized by Ornella Fado, member of the COM.IT.ES. and President of its Communication and Events Commission. Ornella Fado is also an entrepreneur and television producer with OK Production LLC, the company that launched the television show “Made in Sicily” Brindiamo! A Toast to the Finest Italian Restaurant in 2005.
The event is sponsored by the COM.IT.ES of New York, the States General of Women – led by President Dr. Isa Maggi – and the Inner Wheel Palermo Normanna Club Service, District 211, headed by President Angela Fundaro’. Ornella Fado, who is described as the “spokesperson for Made in Italy and Italian excellence in the United States,” will serve as the cultural and musical initiative’s godmother. The star of the evening, enchanting the audience with her elegance and technical skill, will be composer and violinist Maestro Jane Far. She was recently awarded the prestigious Grand Prix Excellence SAINT-GERMAIN DES-PRÉS 2024 Paris at the Sorbonne University in Paris for her contributions to international cultural projects, promoting Italy and Sicily through her music.
Various companies, institutions, and international organizations have supported this prestigious initiative in the heart of Manhattan, with a focus on promoting Sicilian fashion, culture, music, local products, craftsmanship, and agriculture. This event also aims to strengthen the emotional bond between Italians abroad and their homeland.
