KIEV (UCRAINA) (ITALPRESS) – “At this time, 11 people are in hospital in Dnipro after the Russian attack on the city. The rescue operations continue on the site of the blow to a residential building. People could still be trapped under the rubble. For almost the entire night, the Russians hit Dnipro and our other cities and communities. At the moment, more than 30 people have reported injuries throughout Ukraine. There are also victims in the regions of Chernihiv, Odesa and Kharkiv. Tragically, there are dead. Four people were killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.” The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky writes on X. “Russian tactics remain unchanged – attack drones, cruise missiles and a significant number of ballistic missiles. Most goals are civil infrastructure in cities. Residential buildings, energy plants and enterprises were damaged. Any such blow must remind our partners that the situation requires immediate and decisive action. We need a rapid strengthening of our air defence – and I am grateful for the decisions made on Thursday during the meetings in Cyprus concerning additional contributions to the PURL initiative. There are political decisions from different European countries, and it is important that they be implemented as quickly as possible.”
“We must also proceed now towards the 21st package of European sanctions against Russia. The break caused by the lock of the 20th package gave the attacker additional time to fit – it is important to counter this. We are already in contact with the EU team about possible new steps of sanctions. The key objective is to significantly limit the capabilities of the Russian military-industrial complex.
