UDINE (ITALPRESS) – “The regional administration of Friuli Venezia Giulia confirms its commitment to the right to study and expands the system of support for members of the ITS Academy, guaranteeing also for the academic year 2026/2027 access to scholarships, housing services and housing contributions. In support of these measures totalled 6.5 million euros of regional resources for the right to university study, which amounted to 6.7 million of the ESF+ 21/27.” This was stated by the Regional Councillor for Education Alessia Rosolen, illustrating the measures envisaged by the call for the right to study students of the ITS Academy for the academic year 2026/2027. “In the previous year we have supported these paths with own resources, applying similar criteria and amounts to those provided for undergraduates – the Councillor recalled –. With the conclusion of the phase financed by the National Resumption and Resilience Plan (Pnrr), we confirm this choice and we again provide regional resources, entrusting to the Regional Agency for the Right to Study (ARDiS) the management and delivery of benefits. We also want to assure ITS Academy members a support system that includes, in addition to scholarships, essential services such as accommodation, canteen and transport, in a framework of interventions consistent with that already foreseen for university students.”.
“The ITS Academy is a strategic component of the training system of Friuli Venezia Giulia, because they offer highly specialized skills and strongly connected to the needs of the production system – said Rosolen -. To support those who choose these paths means to invest simultaneously on young people, their training opportunities and the competitiveness of our territory”. The benefits are for students enrolled, for the academic year 2026/2027, at the ITS Academy based in Trieste, Gorizia, Udine, Pordenone and Amaro. To submit the application it is not necessary to have completed the registration at ITS Academy: it is possible to submit the request also with reservation of registration, subject to the obligation to complete the registration within the terms established by the individual Academy. Access to benefits is subject to the possession of the merit and income requirements provided by the notice. With regard to the merits, it is required to pass the intermediate examinations for the modules carried out and concluded by 10 August 2027. For the purposes of assessing the economic situation, ISEE is considered for the benefit of the right to university study, related to income and assets of 2024. The ordinary limits are set in 28,339,88 euros of ISEE and 61.608,48 euros of ISPE. For students with certified disabilities, the limits are increased by 25 percent.
The amounts of scholarships are differentiated according to the student’s condition: 7.171,11 euro for students outside the office; 4.190,71 euro for commuters; 2.890,16 euro for students on site. The application for the scholarship must be submitted exclusively online by Friday 30 October 2026, through the ARDiS website. The call also provides a total of 96 accommodation for students at ITS Academy. In Trieste there are 47 places, of which 45 are available at the Student Houses of Trieste and 2 at the Student House of Gorizia. In Udine there are 49 places, distributed among the structures of Udine, Gemona del Friuli and Pordenone. Of the total seats available, 34 in Trieste and 28 in Udine are reserved for freshmen, while the remaining places are intended for students of the following years. “The accommodation – said Rosolen – is one of the conditions that can make a difference in the concrete possibility of attending a training course. For this reason we guarantee them not only in residential structures, but also a replacement measure for students who, while being eligible, cannot obtain a place for effective unavailability.”.
Appropriate students who are not eligible for accommodation, who are not eligible for accommodation in ARDiS facilities or in other places available, are in fact recognised as a replacement contribution of 1,600 euros, in the face of the presentation of a registered lease, lasting not less than eight months, at the teaching center of the course. For students of the second and third year, expired on 3 August the deadline for submitting the application, admission will start from 7 September 2026. For the request of the accommodation there are two deadlines for fresh meat: Tuesday 15 September 2026 and Thursday 15 October 2026. For the request of the replacement contribution for the accommodation, the deadline is fixed on Wednesday 25 November 2026. “With this call – Rosolen concludes – the Region confirms a precise choice: the right to study must accompany all training courses, including those of the ITS Academy.”.
