ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Sport as leverage of inclusion, well-being and development of the territories. With this objective, the Institute for Sports and Cultural Credit (ICSC) and Decathlon Italy have undersigned an Intesa protocol that starts a strategic collaboration aimed at supporting the dissemination of sports practice and the realization of projects with high social impact.
The agreement combines the skills of two realities united by the desire to make sport increasingly accessible and close to people. Decathlon Italia will provide its experience in the promotion of sports practice and in the development of sports solutions, while ICSC will contribute with its expertise in the financing of sports facilities and the evaluation of the social impact of the projects. From this partnership, concrete initiatives will be launched to expand access to sport, promote proximity and modernize sports infrastructure. In particular, the collaboration will promote interventions for the purchase and modernization of sports equipment, helping to make plants more accessible, inclusive and sustainable.
The amateur sports associations and the amateur sports clubs will have the opportunity to deepen the content of the agreement on the occasion of the Club Day, scheduled next September 19. The free initiative, hosted in the Decathlon shops, is designed to promote the encounter between local communities, the discovery of the different sports disciplines and the knowledge of the associative realities of the territory. As part of the day, sports organizations will also be able to learn about the opportunities for facilitated financing for investment support, including the purchase of new sports equipment. With this protocol, ICSC and Decathlon Italy strengthen a shared path that aims to transform sport into a concrete opportunity of growth, inclusion and regeneration of the territories, networking skills, investments and proximity to create lasting value in communities.
