TEL AVIV (ISRAELE) (ITALPRESS) – If tomorrow, the third anniversary of the massacre of October 7, the Israeli forces must be hit “Hamas and the people of Gaza will pay a very high price, completely disproportionate”. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated this in a note saying that he ordered the armed forces to “enhanced the operational readiness and prepare for any possible scenario in Gaza” in conjunction with October 7.
Katz quoted intelligence information that “Hamas intends to attempt assaults and attacks against our forces in Gaza on that day.” In his statement, the Defence Minister states that the Israeli Defense Forces (Idf) must prepare for the worst scenarios and that “it is necessary to take energetic actions in response to any information or notice to thwart any threat, in addition to the force operations already underway.”.
Last year, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the Hamas attack on October 7, Gaza terrorists launched a rocket against the border community of Netiv Ha’asara. Since then, no rockets have been launched from Gaza that have crossed the border with the Israeli territory. A rocket launched by Gaza terrorists in January fell within the Strip itself.
