Accademia Libica, a course for Italian teachers in collaboration with the University of Siena

TRIPOLI (LIBIA) (ITALPRESS) – The Libyan Academy for Higher Education hosted the opening ceremony of the training course for Italian teachers of Libyan schools and universities, in collaboration with the University for Foreigners of Siena.

As announced by the Academy in a statement, President Ahmed Al-Mahdi Al-Dweik opened his work thanks to Italian and Libyan partners, including the cultural associate Salvatore Cicermo and the undersecretary of the Libyan Higher Education Saleh Al-Ghoul.

Al-Dweik hoped that the course reactived the master’s degree in Italian of the Academy, interrupted by lack of teachers, defining the language a bridge among peoples. The Libyan undersecretary underlined the depth of Libyan-Italian relations and the desire to continue cooperation in training and research.

The Cultural Officer Cicermo illustrated the objectives and results of the course to improve the teaching of Italian.
