For the fourth time since 2020, one of the most eagerly anticipated events by the Italian community in New York returns: the Italian Heritage Basketball Night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Organized by IBBL NYC, this event will bring together Italians, Americans, and Italian-Americans for an evening celebrating sports, culture, and pride in Italian heritage.
On February 4, 2025, the spotlight will be on the Brooklyn Nets as they take on the Houston Rockets, but the excitement will kick off earlier in the day. The Italian community will have the chance to play on the same court where NBA stars will compete that evening. Participants will experience the thrill of the NBA playground, with 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 games under the guidance of Fabrizio Di Michele, the Consul General of Italy in New York and a devoted basketball fan.
