ROME (ITALPRESS) – DS Automobiles has unveiled the first images of the new model to be produced by the Stellantis premium brand at its Melfi plant in Italy and marketed in 2025. More than 50 pre-production examples are indeed starting a new tuning phase with a special livery: playing on the contrast of deep black punctuated by gold aerodynamic lines, this unique camouflage, which adopts the colors of the DS E-Tense FE25 entered in the ABB Fia Formula E World Championship, reveals the basic silhouette of the future model. Charismatic styling, aerodynamic lines, cutting-edge technology and superior comfort-these are the cornerstones that led to the creation of the new car made in Melfi. With its new model, the brand has created a brand-new stylistic typology while keeping intact the fundamental characteristics that have forged the success of coupe SUVs. The exterior design of the echoes the dynamism of the most elegant SUVs, while adapting to the demands of a 100% electric powertrain. Indeed, DS Automobiles has designed a very efficient model, capable of offering a record range of 750 km in the WLTP cycle. To maximize aerodynamics (which boasts an outstanding Cx of 0.24), every element of the body was tested in the wind tunnel. In particular, active air intakes were installed in the lower part of the front bumper to aid cooling. The front end takes on a very technological identity. The light signature dear to DS Automobiles is highlighted by the vertical daytime running lights, which frame the DS Pixelvision headlamps.
