BUCAREST (ROMANIA) (ITALPRESS) – Confindustria Romania celebrated its prestigious year-end event. A meeting moment reserved for the Associates and a selected list of guests. The Confindustria video that anticipated the speech of President Giulio Bertola, well defined the pro-European position of the Representation in Romania, in line with Confindustria Italy. A sharp and clear stance that President Bertola, wanted to make publicly, but only after the parliamentary and presidential elections were over, with the related problems on the presidential results that followed. More than 180 participants, representing major Italian investments in Romania, gathered for the usual end-of-year greetings and to share the Association’s achievements in 2024.Present at this important meeting were the Italian Ambassador Alfredo Durante Mangoni, the Director of ICE – Foreign Trade Institute, Micaela Soldini who, with Confindustria Romania, make up the Italian System in this country, among the most complete and dynamic in Eastern Europe. There was also a consistent participation of members of the Italian Academy of Cuisine-Delegation of Bucharest who contributed to the strengthening of the concept of Sistema Italiain Romania.Representing the Romanian Chamber System were, as the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Prahova, President Aurelian Gogulescu and the Head of Internal and International Relations, dr.ssa Mihaela Hristache, and for the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Romania, Nacu Teodora.During the course of the event, Confindustria Romania, was recognized as the leading entity of the Italian System, on the issue of the lack of skilled labor, thanks to the Wine-Home Project, supported by LIDL Romania. The socio-economic impact of this innovative Project aimed at the Romanian Diaspora overcame all the limited projects related only to the training of resources in Romania who, once they reach a good professional level, often migrate in search of a better economic remuneration in other countries.A Project that thanks to its uniqueness will be presented next January at the UN, at “Global Compact for Safe,Orderly and Regular Migration (GCM),” as it is perfectly consistent with the UN directives on orderly and protected migration.During the Awards 2024 were also awarded several companies and individuals who have particularly distinguished themselves during the year. First were the Official Partners companies of Confindustria Romania: CPL Concordia, Evoca Manufacturing Romania, Manni Group and Unicredit Bank Romania. Next were the Partners: Alive capital, Centrul Medical Policlinico di Monza, Crowe Romania, Geostru, Ifis finance, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, Oca Global, Pirelli Tyres Romania, Prysmian Cabluri si Sisteme, Siad Romania, Sofidel Romania, Technology Reply andTomasi Group.During the evening, the president of Confindustria Romania, Giulio Bertola, presented a Lifetime Achievement Award to journalist Claudio Brachino, for more than 30 years head of news at Mediaset, and for the past four years head of the Video area of Agenzia Italpress.The evening also served as the patroness of the launch of the Italpress Press Agency’s own Correspondence Office, opened in the Romanian capital’s central Vasile Lascar Street.
