TheNewyorker at Italy Pavilion, COUNTRY PARTNER FANCY FOOD SHOWS 2025

Italy will be the COUNTRY PARTNER for both editions of the Fancy Food Shows:

– Winter Fancy Food Show, January 19-21, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

– Summer Fancy Food Show from June 29 to July 1, 2025 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York

An absolute first for Italy, never before had anyone received this recognition from the Specialty Food Association which owns and produces the show.

The Specialty Food Association, is the largest food network in the United States of America, founded in 1952 in New York, by importers and entrepreneurs. It is a non-profit association with 3,000 members in the United States and abroad.

The Fancy Food Shows, with Winter in Las Vegas and Summer in New York, are among the most important global trade shows for the food and beverage industry.

This is the first time a country has had the opportunity to be a Country Partner four times.

The Italian Pavilion at the Fancy Food Shows has for decades been a symbol of excellence and a landmark for the promotion of Made in Italy in the agribusiness sector.

Organized and curated by Universal Marketing, the Specialty Food Association’s exclusive agent for Italy, this space represents a unique opportunity for Italian producers to connect with the international market, showcasing the best of our country’s culinary tradition and innovation.

The great collaboration between Specialty Food Association, Italian Trade Agency and Universal Marketing in the creation of the Fancy Food Shows is a significant example of synergy between public and private entities for the promotion of Italian products in the United States.

It kicks off on January 19 with the Winter Fancy Food.

The magic of Las Vegas, and an exceptional location such as the Las Vegas Convention Center, will once again be the “winter home” of Fancy Food.

Italian excellence, will come to life in the traditional “Italian Pavilion,” the largest exhibition space in the international area of the entire fair, the Italian area of about 1,000sqm, will host in 101 booths, the best of Italian companies in the agri-food sector and the regional districts of Piedmont, Calabria and Sicily.

We at ilNewyorkese will be present at Fancyfood with an interview corner inside the Italian pavilion where we will do exclusive interviews, live updates and many Italian stories disseminated on a network of more than 30 newspapers with an audience of more than one million people.

So many new features in this 2025

In the Italian Pavilion, which as usual will see the full range of Made in Italy agribusiness, there will be no shortage of attractions and promotional and show-cooking activities on the first and second days of the fair.

Italian companies will be in a dedicated area with a strong visual impact, thanks to a new dedicated structure, all accompanied by a naming and visual campaign created for the occasion “Italy, the Art of Taste” where Renaissance-inspired reproductions with depictions of Italian food culture will landscape the Italian Pavilion.

Present will be the traditional Lounge organized by ICE (the Italian Trade Commission), created in a very central area inside the Italian Pavilion, will re-propose the special station dedicated “to the ITALIAN APERITIVO”, moreover all visitors will be able to live an experience in pure Italian Style thanks to the stations dedicated to the typical products of the great Made in Italy: cold cuts, cheeses, coffee .

“The entire SFA team is excited to be working with Italy for both Fancy Food Shows in 2025,” said Bill Lynch, president of SFA. “Our friends at Universal Marketing have developed some new ideas and activations that will take place within the Italy Pavilion and other areas of the Show that will highlight all the quality and sensory capabilities of Italian cuisine; from live chef demonstrations to new product displays and more. We are grateful to have Italy as a partner in planning unforgettable experiences at the next two Fancy Food Shows.”

The ICE Agency is committed to supporting the agri-food sector in the U.S. and, with the valuable collaboration of the organizers, SFA and Universal Marketing, the ICE Office in New York, is again this year proposing a space for communication, tasting of authentic products and assistance available to companies in the Italian Pavilion.

Italy Partner Country 2025 at the Fancy Food Shows, first in Las Vegas and then in New York, is an honor for Sistema Italia, but above all it represents recognition to Italian companies for their ability to guarantee a wide range of products characterized by quality and excellence that Americans show they appreciate more and more every year, as the most recent data confirm.

In 2024 result exports of the sector to the U.S. amounted to $7.3 billion with partial data for the first 9 months of 2024, amounting to $6.3 billion, double-digit trend growth, exceeding 17 percent. Products such as water, pasta, cheeses, oil, wine and sauces are always at the top of Americans’ consumption preferences contributing to the third position overall for Italian exports in the sector, after Mexico and Canada – said Erica di Giovancarlo Director of ICE New York Agency and Coordinator of the US network

“Thirty years ago we took on an extraordinary challenge, participating in the creation of the Italy Pavilion within the Fancy Food Shows, and today we are very proud to help make Italy for the fourth time Country Partner of the Fancy Food Shows in 2025,” said Donato Cinelli, president of Universal Marketing, exclusive agent for Italy of the Specialty Food Association.

“Step by step, we have seen the growth of Italian entrepreneurs, districts and consortia, which over time have understood the importance of telling the story of their product; today more than ever, the United States is fascinated by the stories of Made in Italy: Quality, Passion and Success.”

“Italian food represents a standard of excellence in the United States.

Italy is the largest international pavilion at the Fancy Food Shows and over the years has contributed in no small measure to the strength and quality of the event.”
