Bocconi University and the Bocconi Alumni Community are coming to the Big Apple with Bocconi Meets New York, an exclusive event dedicated to future students, their parents, and professionals in the academic and business world. The event is scheduled for Monday, November 3, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Piazza Italia, 11 E 44th St, Suite 800, in the heart of Manhattan.
The meeting, titled Bocconi Meets New York, offers a unique opportunity to learn more about one of Europe’s most prestigious universities through the direct experiences of its representatives and alumni who now live and work in the United States.
New York is, after all, one of the top career destinations for Bocconi graduates: a crossroads of opportunities where education, ambition, and international vision converge.
The evening will open at 6:30 PM with institutional greetings from Fabrizio Di Michele, Consul General of Italy in New York, followed by a welcome message from the Bocconi Alumni Community New York, represented by Francesca Coloni, Chapter Leader of the local community.
Immediately after, Chiara Fumagalli, Dean of the Undergraduate School at Bocconi University, and Mario Tabarini, Director of Guidance and Recruitment, will present an overview of the academic offering and international opportunities provided by the Milanese institution, known for its ability to train global professionals ready to face contemporary challenges.
One of the most anticipated moments will be the roundtable “Bocconi Alumni in New York: In Their Own Words”, moderated by Veronica Sullo, Head of International Recruitment at the University.
Three Bocconi alumni who have built brilliant careers in the world’s financial capital will take center stage:
- Michael Del Nin, Head of Media Investments and Partnerships at Family Office
- Giorgia Turri, Investment Associate at Clear Harbor Asset Management
- Christian Iorgoveanu, IBD Quantitative Strategist at Goldman Sachs
Through their stories, attendees will gain insight into how a Bocconi education can translate into successful professional experiences in highly competitive environments like the United States.
The evening will conclude with a Q&A session and a networking cocktail at 7:45 PM, designed to encourage dialogue among students, alumni, and representatives from academic and corporate fields.
A casual but valuable moment, where ideas, aspirations, and projects can connect and grow.
Bocconi Meets New York is more than just an informational event — it’s a bridge between cultures, experiences, and generations. An opportunity to reaffirm the bond between Italy and the United States through education, research, and a shared passion for excellence.
For the Italian community in New York, it is also a way to feel closer to home — a home that, around the world, carries the name Bocconi.
Anyone interested in attending can register for the event through Bocconi University’s website.
