MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The roster for the 2024-25 season of Allianz Milano was presented today ahead of the start of the men’s volleyball Superleague. Last year we finished third in the league and for the first time qualified for the Champions League: “We certainly can’t hide anymore. The penultimate season we finished fourth in SuperLega, last season third, we are in the Champions League. We have to accept this year that we are also starting among the favorites in a league that will be of the highest level after the Olympics,” said President Lucio Fusaro. “It seems like yesterday, but it has already been a year since we were last seen here in this beautiful auditorium of Allianz to present our season. I am happy and proud to do it here again with those who, for the sixth season, are supporting our journey. Allianz supports us not only in a sports project, but in a real value project.” Confirmed the technical staff with Roberto Piazza at the helm, there are seven new arrivals for a season that will see the Meneghine team once again in the spotlight. Also confirmed are senators Matej Kazijski and Matteo Piano, the blue central is now in his eighth season in Milan. The official presentation, held in the Allianz Tower Auditorium, was attended by President Fusaro, accompanied by the full team, coach Roberto Piazza and Allianz S.p.A. general manager Maurizio Devescovi. “Allianz has always focused on youth and high-level sports. We have been hosting the presentation of Allianz Milano here in Torre Allianz for six years, and we are very pleased with our partnership with the club of President Lucio Fusaro, with whom from this year we have also formed a new partnership for the youth sector, which thus takes the naming Allianz Diavoli Powervolley,” Devescovi reiterated.
The new uniforms were unveiled: the first jersey is still distinguished by the dominance of the color white, with blue covering the sleeves and sides. Second uniform in blue, while the choice of red was confirmed for the libero, with white and gold details. On Sunday 29, the SuperLega opener will be an away match, at home of Gioiella Prisma Taranto.
