Alpine unveils PS1 at the Paris International Auto Show

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Alpine will take the veil to PS1, a concept car, at this year’s Paris International Auto Show. It will accompany the rest of the range and the Sculpture Alpine A110. The presentation will take place on 12 October at 9:20 pm and will be broadcast live streams for fans around the world. Visitors to the Salone will also be among the first to discover in person a sculpture that anticipates the next Alpine A110, along with models that illustrate a new chapter of Alpine A290 and A390 customization. PS1 is the code name of the concept, abbreviation of “Projet Special 1”. It fits into the pillar of the brand’s special product triptych projects, alongside “Extraordinary Everyday”, a key volume and growth engine for brand expansion, and the “Icons” pillar, represented by the flagship model, Alpine A110. The short video and the first widespread image show one of the front headlights, highlighting a distinctive design that reveals the character of the car. It is the only clue before the curtain rises, on the first day of the Salone, when Alpine will reveal all the details. The Sculpture Alpine A110 will also make its debut in front of the public. Launched in a blue veil that evokes lightness and aerodynamic fluidity, anticipates the design of the third generation of the model, whose proportions and the arrangement of the original Berlinette and the current Alpine A110 are revealed in a decidedly contemporary form and rich in curves. Inspired by the pioneering Concorde plane and when it reached supersonic speed, this artistic vision is based on the technical foundations of the new Alpine Performance Platform (APP). These previews at the Salone will be completed by the exhibition of models that illustrate, for the first time, the extension of the Atelier Alpine program to the Alpine A290 and A390. Visitors will discover a wide range of new colours, new coatings and new finishes, such as the new Alpine A290 collection at the Alpine A390 GTS in the new Bleu Tempète Mat colour. Alpine arrives in Paris in the wake of a real momentum; after a three-digit growth in 2025, the brand continues its rise and organic growth in 2026, driven by its best-selling model, the Alpine A290 sports car, and flanked by Alpine A390 fastback sport, which transfers Alpine DNA to a new segment. With a commercial network now present in 25 countries, Alpine accelerates its path to become the world’s landmark among the French brands of high-end sports cars. Customers, potential buyers and enthusiasts will be able to find Alpine at Hall 6, stand A22 at the Paris International Motor Show, from 12 to 18 October.
