Anything goes at San Siro, Chukwueze decides Milan v Udinese

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Milan won three points in a match in which everything happened. The match against Udinese ends 1-0, decisive the goal scored in the first half by Chukwueze. Three fundamental points for Fonseca’s team, at 14 points and tied with Inter (tomorrow on the pitch in Rome against the Giallorossi), while the Friulians, at their third defeat in the championship, chew bitterly. The one at San Siro was an incredible match. The hosts started with the right attitude: Fonseca chose to leave Rafa Leao on the bench, in his place Okafor with Morata the only offensive reference. At the first real action came the goal of the lead by Chukwueze, skillful in repeating in the net the assist of Pulisic arrived from the edge of the penalty area (13’pt). But the inertia of the match changed when Chiffi sent off Reijnders: at 29′ the midfielder landed Lovric thrown into the net, directing red for a clear goal chance, a decision that triggered protests from the entire stadium. The Bianconeri fought back, and Ehizibue found the equalizing goal in the midst of recovery, but the goal was disallowed due to an offside position. Pavlovic was also injured on the occasion after a collision of play (he later returned to the field with a conspicuous bandage). In the second half Udinese practically pressed the foot on the accelerator in order to take advantage of the extra man. Milan tried to defend in every possible way, resoundingly Abraham’s chance from two steps failed to get past Okoye, who was reactive on both Pulisic and the former Roma man. The English striker was also forced off – despite having just entered – because of a shoulder injury. Runjaic’s team tried hard to score the equalizing goal, Milan’s resistance crumbling at 50′ when Kabasele equalized in an incredible scrum in the Rossoneri area. After a very lengthy Var review, Chiffi decided to cancel the equalizer due to an irregular position (a matter of millimeters) for Ekkelenkamp. It ends 1-0 and the Diavolo can regain their smile. – Photo Ipa Agency -(ITALPRESS).
