ROME (ITALPRESS) – The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport reports that 121,666 cars were registered in September 2024 compared to 136,316 registrations recorded in the same month of the previous year, representing a decrease of 10.75 percent.Transfers of ownership were 443,993 compared to 427,058 transfers recorded in September 2023, an increase of 3.97 percent.The overall monthly sales volume of 565,659 involved 21.51% new cars and 78.49% used cars.The registrations represent the findings of the National Vehicle Database as of 9/30/2024, while the data on transfers of ownership refer to the certifications issued by the DMV Offices in September 2024.
