Car on crowd in New Orleans, 10 dead and 30 injured

ROME (ITALPRESS) – Ten and dead and 30 injured, in New Orleans, where a car crashed into a crowd around 3:15 a.m. (local time). According to reports from the Office of Homeland Security, the events took place on Bourbon Street.

Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry, on social media spoke of “A horrific act of violence” and called for “prayers for all victims.”

“Improvised explosive devices have been found, and we are working to confirm whether it is a working device or not,” said Alethea Duncan, special agent in charge of the FBI office in New Orleans, according to CNN reports.

The victims are reported to be locals, according to initial information.
